System-Administrator Linux (m/f)
Responsibilites Include:
- Maintain high availability operation of our Apache/Tomcat based system
- Responsible for performance monitoring and optimisation
- System analysis, documentation, and technical problem resolution, as well as after hour support activities
- Proficient technical support for departments and service providers
- System design, and implementation
Your Profile:
- Completed University degree or equivalent work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of GNU/Linux
- Experience with and strong knowledge of System Administration
- Very good knowledge of administration and optimisation of Apache, Tomcat, PostgreSQL and Java
- Experience is administration of databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Good knowledge of Perl and Bash-Scripting
- Fundamental knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls)
- Experience in support of internal application and Linux systems
- Beneficial: Knowledge of Windows system administration and VMWare
Additional Skills:
- Well organized and self motivated
- Service oriented and perform well under pressure
- Strong English skills
