Moto-Master Europe BV recalls [213120] RMC Radial Master Cylinder 12mm

Due to safety concerns, Moto-Master Europe BV is recalling the above mentioned product. The part number of the product is 213120 and the description is Radial Master Cylinder, with a piston size of 12mm. The part number is laser-marked on the upper part of the body of the master cylinder. This product was produced by Moto-Master Europe BV and then distributed on the market through various retailers. This Product Safety Recall applies only to purchases made between June 1st, 2025 and 31st of May, 2026.

WHY IS THIS PRODUCT DANGEROUS?

The rubber seals that are mounted on the piston of the master cylinder are too big. This can cause the piston to get stuck inside the body during use on your motorcycle, which results in a build-up of pressure in the brake system. This extra pressure is then forced onto the brake pads of the vehicle, causing them to permanently lock up the wheel.

WHAT TO DO

If you have purchased and/or installed this master cylinder in the above mentioned period of time, then we urge you to stop using the product immediately. Please contact your point of sale to arrange a return to Moto-Master Europe BV where a complete repair will take place. If you are not able to do this through your point of sale, then please contact Moto-Master Europe BV directly through the contact information below.
