Alpinestars Tech 10: Premium Boots Built for Serious Off-Road Riding

The Tech 10 uses multiple systems rather than relying on a rigid outer shell alone. Its Frontal Flex Frame and dual-pivot architecture are engineered to control forward, rearward and rotational movement while preserving useful ankle articulation.

Key features include:

• Biomechanical inner ankle brace designed to manage lateral and torsional forces.
• Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) engineered to absorb energy from significant impacts.
• Dual-pivot chassis providing progressive resistance to rotational and vertical forces.
• Impact- and abrasion-resistant TPU shell protecting exposed areas of the foot and lower leg.
• Cold-forged aluminum buckles with a self-aligning closure design.
• CE certification to EN 13634:2017 for protective motorcycle footwear

These technologies make the Tech 10 more than simply a rigid pair of premium boots. They create a coordinated protection system intended to manage impact, compression, hyperextension and excessive rotation.

Protection Without Sacrificing Bike Control

Protection matters, but motocross riders also need accurate feedback through the footpegs, brake pedal and gear lever.

Alpinestars uses a lightweight microfiber chassis combined with TPU protection, while the controlled flex system allows the boot to articulate without unrestricted movement. The current construction is also stated to reduce weight by more than 400 grams compared with its predecessor, helping improve fit and peg feel.

The result is a boot engineered to balance three priorities: protection, mobility and motorcycle control.

Advanced Protection for Demanding Riders

The Alpinestars Tech 10 combines sophisticated ankle support, impact management and controlled flexibility in Alpinestars’ flagship MX boot. Its dual-pivot structure, internal ankle brace and protective TPU chassis make it a compelling option for riders seeking premium boots built around serious off-road performance.
