Guillem Farres is the 2026 MX2 World Champion, completing a remarkable season in which speed, consistency and resilience established the Spaniard as the benchmark of the category. After a competitive opening part of the year, Farres found another gear as the championship developed. Victories in France and Portugal were followed by an outstanding run through South Africa, Great Britain and the Czech Republic, turning his title challenge into a commanding campaign. Along the way, the Triumph Racing Factory Team rider demonstrated his ability to deliver on very different tracks and in changing conditions.

Farres’ season was defined not only by victories, but by his consistency at the front. Twelve podiums across the opening 17 Grands Prix, six overall wins and more laps led than any of his MX2 rivals underlined the strength of his campaign. Even after difficult weekends and a crash in Sweden, he responded in champion style, returning to the top step in Türkiye.
