  • How to use your Belt Monkey:
  • Step 1: Using your motorcycle’s manufacturer manual, specify how much movement is required at 10lb of pressure.
  • Step 2: Align the bottom of the domed edge with the required setting line and adjust the locking nuts so that they are touching the underside of the orange base. Lock the nuts together using two spanners to set your Belt Monkey.
  • Step 3: Undo rear wheel nut and slightly slacken belt. Hook onto belt and tighten until the locking nuts touch the orange base. Ensure your bike is in neutral.
  • Step 4: Adjust swingarm adjusters evenly until the belt goes tight. Ensure the wheel is aligned and tighten rear wheel nut.
  • Step 5: Remove from belt. Required tension will now be set.
